The man third from the left in the front row is my grandfather, Joeseph P Gagne. He helped build the sulphite mill in the 1890’s. When he retired he was a supervisor at the sulphite mill. He was also an avid fiddler and made his own violins. Poof Tardiff has an article on him on his website.

The third man from the left front row is Joseph P Gagne. He was a violin maker and was my wife Darlene’s grandfather.
