My first night in the mill I unloaded a couple of the theses cars. This was pre OSHA, we use to climb into the cars with a pitchfork and a rope tied around our waist so we wouldn’t fall through into the lag conveyor. Being a safety director now, I know that OSHA would of had a field day with this operation.
